VX Networks is a design template for building and managing home and small office networks that leverage the functionality and auditability of large enterprise networks, but without the costs.

The project is divided into sections, most of which can be used independently of the others.

As of August 2021 the site is under construction - the first pages should be available shortly with more appearing by late 2021.

It is the sole responsibility of the reader, if they decide to embody any of the techniques in this website into a practical network, to ensure that the methods and techniques included herein are suitable for the intended use.

All of the techniques and configurations have been tested by the author and operate as described.

The hardware described in this website, and used by the author, is the authors own property and has not been provided by any manufacturer for endorsement purposes.

The views regarding the use of any hardware described in this website are the author's personal views and do not represent an endorsement of any particular product.

It is the responsibility of the reader to determine the suitability of any and all hardware as being suitable for the intended application.

The author has worked in the telecommunications, information technology and broadcast industries for over 40 years and is keen to promote the techniques and best practices for use in smaller networks such as advanced home networks, small to medium sized office networks and test and development environments. In this latter case, it is often impractical (due to the expense) of replicating large production networks; it is, however, possible to replicate most features using readily available 'of the shelf' retail network components.
